I earned my bachelor's degree from Furman University, and I received my master's degree from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. I am a public health student, so I have a thorough understanding of many foundational subjects like math, writing, and biology. As a teacher and tutor, it is my aim to help students not only gain new knowledge and memorize information, but also to increase their confidence in their own ability to learn new things and overcome academic obstacles. I can help students who struggle with a wide variety of courses. In math, I am adept in tutoring Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I can also tutor students in the life sciences, biology, American history, literature, grammar and mechanics, reading comprehension, essay writing, editing, and college entrance essays. These subjects form an essential foundation in any academic field, and I think it is important for my students to find enjoyment and confidence in these areas. I look forward to working with new students to help them gain a better appreciation and understanding for education. When I'm not following my passion as a tutor, I love reading, listening to music, and watching sports.
